Job Description
Arden White is recruiting for a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to support a leading aviation and defence organisation. This is an on-site role where you will act as the primary HSE lead, maintaining high standards of safety, environmental compliance and supporting ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCoordinate and manage the Health & Safety Management System.\n\nLead risk assessments, incident/accident investigations and safety reporting.\n\nConduct site walkarounds, inspections, toolbox talks and promote proactive safety culture.\n\nOversee occupational health, fire safety, PPE, COSHH, DSE and manual handling compliance.\n\nSupport the Environmental Management System, waste management and legislation adherence.\n\nAssist with internal and external HSE audits and non-conformance closure.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\nPrevious experience in a Health, Safety & Environment advisory role.\n\nNEBOSH Certificate (minimum) or IOSH-approved qualification.\n\nStrong organisational, analytical and communication skills.\n\nAbility to interpret legislation and influence effectively across all levels.\n\nDesirable Experience:\n\nBackground within aviation, engineering or a technical environment.\n\nDegree in H&S, risk, engineering, construction or similar.\n\nTraining qualification.\n\nAdditional Requirements:\n\nDBS check required and eligibility for SC clearance.\n\nMust meet Export Compliance requirements.\n\nCurrent right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).\n\nIf you’re a proactive HSE professional looking for an opportunity to make a real impact in a high-performing environment, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nIf you feel you have the skills to succeed in this role, please click to apply.\n \nArden White specialises in technical engineering recruitment, and all job applications are managed by our team.
