Were looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused HR Officer to deliver an exceptional HR service at the heart of our school community. This is a pivotal role, ensuring smooth HR operations, impeccable compliance, and a warm, professional first point of contact for staff. Youll play a central role in supporting colleagues, shaping a positive staff experience, and ensuring our school continues to operate safely, smoothly and professionally. What Youll Lead: Safer Recruitment & Compliance: Own the Single Central Register and all pre-employment checks, ensuring we meet ISI, legal and GDST standards every day. End-to-End Recruitment: Partner with the DFO to deliver seamless recruitment, onboarding and induction. HR Administration Excellence: Keep employee records accurate, secure and up to date across all systems. Staff Support: Be the go-to person for HR queries, policies and day-to-day guidance. Operational HR: Support probation, absence management, appraisals, employee relations and key HR processes. Audit & Inspection Readiness: Help maintain a compliant, inspection-ready HR environment at all times.
