HR Officer - Secondary Schools (Full-Time, 5 Days per Week) Location: Lambeth, London

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Officer to join a welcoming and forward-thinking group of secondary schools across Lambeth. This is a full-time, five-days-per-week position, offering an excellent opportunity for a skilled HR professional to make a meaningful impact within the education sector.

The Role As HR Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day HR operations across the schools. You will work closely with senior leadership teams to ensure HR processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with best practice. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and leavers Providing HR advice and guidance to staff and leadership teams Supporting performance management, absence management, and employee relations matters Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, employment law, and school policies Maintaining accurate HR records and systems Assisting with policy development and implementationAbout You

Proven experience working in an HR role is essential Strong knowledge of HR practices, procedures, and employment legislation Previous experience within a school or educational setting is highly desirable A degree in HR, Business, or a related field is preferred Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalismWhat We Offer
