At HOYER UK, we are seeking a strategic and people-focused HR Manager (m/f/d) on a part-time basis to lead our Human Resources function and drive initiatives aligned with the broader goals of the HOYER Group. In this key role, you will champion a positive workplace culture, ensure compliance with employment regulations, and support our teams through effective talent acquisition, workforce planning, and performance management
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and strategies that align with business goals, legal standards and best practices
- Act as a trusted advisor to management, aligning HR strategies with business goals, facilitating open communication between management and employees
- Lead employee relations, providing expert guidance on conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, grievances and investigations
- Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, from workforce planning and talent acquisition to onboarding and retention
- Ensure full compliance with employment laws and internal policies, while managing payroll, compensation, and benefits processes
- Provide strategic HR insights and reporting to senior leadership, supporting data-driven decisions and long-term workforce planning
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with HOYER’s values
Your Expertise
- University degree (e.g. in Business Administration, Law, or Psychology) or a comparable qualification with a focus on Human Resources
- Proven experience in a senior HR role within the UK, with strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR compliance, and best practices
- Solid understanding of payroll, compensation, and benefits administration
- Proficiency in HR systems and data analytics,
- Hands-on experience in employee relations
- Strong advisory skills, with the ability to act as a trusted partner to senior leadership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building inclusive, engaging workplace cultures
