HR Graduate Lakeland Dairies is a leading global provider of excellent dairy products made to the most exacting international standards of quality, traceability and reliability across all applications. The co-operative processes almost 2 billion litres of milk each year, supplied by dairy farmers from 15 counties on a cross border basis. Lakeland Dairies markets 240 dairy foodservice and food ingredient products to over 80 countries worldwide, exporting close to 100% of its entire production capacity to every corner of the globe. Applications are invited for the above position based across our Ballyrashane, Artigarvan and Newtownards sites. This position is a fixed-term contract for 2 years. The Role : The HR Graduate will be responsible for delivering a high quality, flexible HR service with a focus and emphasis to proactively develop and maintain all early-career programmes, apprenticeship programmes and recruitment activities. The role will also provide HR a professional and confidential HR generalist service by supporting the HR team in delivering its objectives in all areas e.g. recruitment & selection, HR policies and processes, HR systems & projects. The role will support the HR team to deliver the people strategy plans in alignment with the objectives of the Group and division. The Person: The role requires a candidate to have gained an undergraduate degree in any course under the remit of the Management school (graduating Summer 2025 or earlier). A candidate who has completed, or will be completing, a degree in Human Resource Management would be considered desirable. Candidates must also hold experience in an office/administrative environment. Work experience or a previous role in an HR department would be considered advantageous. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator who is able to demonstrate an ability to work independently or as part of the wider HR team. It is essential that the successful candidate is highly computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ability to analyse data and communicate findings. The candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships at all levels. The role requires excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy as well as the ability to successfully organise, project manage and deliver on deadlines.
