You'll be working with colleagues across the business, gaining exposure and building skills that set you up for a long-term HR career.What you'll be doingYou'll be the go-to person for HR support, helping us keep processes tight, people informed, and everything running like clockwork: Acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries Supporting the full employee lifecycle (from onboarding to exit) Coordinating onboarding for new hires, processing contracts, checks and documentation Managing key compliance processes like DBS, right-to-work and annual F&P checks Keeping HR systems and employee records accurate and up to date Supporting recruitment activity and liaising with hiring teams Spotting trends in HR queries (e.g. absence patterns) and flagging insights Assisting with policy updates and HR projects Working on some of the latest HR Systems What we're looking forWe want someone who's driven, detail-focused and great with people, someone who takes initiative and isn't afraid to get stuck in. Strong organisation skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks Confident, strong communicator (written and verbal) Comfortable handling confidential and/or sensitive information Able to work well both independently and as part of a team Previous HR or admin experience is a bonus Basic understanding of HR processes or employment law is ideal (but we'll support your development) Why Join L&C?Because here, your growth matters.
