About the Role
You will join the HR team at The Trafalgar St. James, Curio Collection by Hilton . The role is proactive, highly organised, and involves working independently while managing a variety of administrative and people-focused tasks, including employee engagement. We’re looking for a motivated HR Assistant who thrives on supporting people and creating positive workplace experiences.
What your day will look like?
As HR Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the full team member journey. Your responsibilities will include coordinating recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, supporting employment relations, responding to staff queries and importantly supporting staff recognition and engagement. You will be working closely with the Cluster Assistant HR Manager and General Manager to drive memorable team member experiences in line with our values.
What You’ll Bring?
You’ll bring hands-on experience in a generalist HR role, backed by an understanding of UK employment law. familiarity with the hospitality sector is a definite plus, as is confidence working with Microsoft Office and HR systems. We’re looking for someone who is approachable, well-organised, and solutions driven. and ideally, you’ll be HR qualified or actively working towards it.
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
