Job Title: HR Administrator

Duration: 2-3 months initially

Location: Dagenham, Essex (hybrid working, 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)

Hourly Rate: £15 - £16 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator on behalf of our maintenance and facilities client based in Dagenham to assist with an urgent large right to work and DBS renewal audit.

This is a key support role within a busy HR function, combining project-based compliance work with general HR administration and clear, accurate staff communications to ensure the audit runs smoothly and on time.

Support a high volume Right to Work and DBS renewal audit, ensuring all documentation is accurately record via U Check
Draft and send clear, consistent communications to employees regarding the project / audit
Act as first point of contact for employee queries
Provide general HR Administration support to the HR team
Carry out pre-employment screening, undertaking right to work checks, references, DBS checks
Monitor and administer periodical DBS check renewals
Data input and management of the core HR system and employee files, ensuring all are all accurate and up to date
Provide HR support across the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, contractual changes and leaver processing
Responding to HR queries either verbally or in writing in a timely manner
Assist with ad hoc projects as requiredExperience / Skills required:

Proven experience working as an HR Administrator, ideally in a high-volume environment
Strong working knowledge of Right to Work checks and DBS processes
Confident using HR systems and online checking systems
Highly organised and excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
Clear, professional written communication skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams
A positive 'can do' attitude
Strong customer focus
Confidence to deal with key clients and customers
