Duties and Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker: Support residents to develop independent living skills and positive community linksWork as part of a team to maintain a safe, supportive, and structured environmentPrepare for and induct new residents, including pre-release assessmentsDeliver and support structured activities, groups, and one-to-one key workContribute to risk management plans and report concerns or non-complianceMonitor adherence to house rules and licence conditions, taking appropriate actionManage daily access for residents, staff, and visitorsLiaise with probation, police, and community agenciesMaintain accurate records using computer-based systemsConduct drug and alcohol testing when requiredFollow medication procedures and administer Naloxone where necessaryAssist with room searches and safeguarding dutiesRespond to emergencies and access medical assistance when requiredEssential Requirements for the Housing Support Worker: Enhanced DBSTo be considered for this exciting role, please contact Lucie Houston - Managing Consultant at Hamilton Woods on 01509 276158 or apply online with a covering note of your experience and suitability referencing the job ID number.
