Housing Support Officer Oxford Homeless Service Permanent Contract Full Time £25,000.00 to £27,500.00 An excellent opportunity has become available for a compassionate and motivated Housing Support Officer to join a Housing Association’s Supported Accommodation Service in Oxford, helping vulnerable individuals to maintain their tenancies and live independently. THE ROLE As a Housing Support Officer, you will provide tailored, person-centred support to individuals living in supported housing, promoting independence, stability, and tenancy sustainment. Assess incoming referrals and engage new clients using a person-centred approach
Create and review Independent Living Plans and Risk Assessments regularly
Liaise with health professionals, external agencies, and colleagues to provide coordinated support
Attend safeguarding meetings and escalate any concerns following correct procedures
Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation
Inform clients of their rights, responsibilities, and financial obligations under their tenancy
Actively engage in reflective practice and continuous professional development
