This role is community-based and involves regular travel between properties across West Surrey.You will work as part of a supportive team to empower clients to resolve challenges, improve daily living skills and achieve sustainable outcomes.Many of the clients we support have complex and overlapping needs, including: Experience of homelessnessMental health challengesDrug and alcohol dependencySocial isolationFinancial hardshipThis role requires emotional resilience, strong professional boundaries and the ability to work in a trauma-informed, non-judgmental way.About the Role As a Housing & Support Officer, you will: Support clients to sustain their tenancies and prevent homelessnessDeliver person-centred support aligned to individual support plansAssist clients to access health, substance misuse, employment and community servicesPromote harm reduction and positive behaviour changeCarry out housing management duties including rent monitoring, tenancy management, property checks and health & safety responsibilitiesComplete risk assessments and contribute to safeguarding processes This is a varied role balancing housing management and support, where no two days are the same.About You We are looking for someone who: Can build professional, non-judgmental relationships with people with complex needsIs confident working with individuals experiencing drug and alcohol dependencyCommunicates effectively with clients, colleagues and partner agenciesCan manage risk appropriately and escalate concerns where necessaryIs organised and able to manage their own workloadHas basic numeracy and written communication skills (GCSE Maths and English level 4 or equivalent)Is confident using IT systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, internet)Holds a full driving licence and has access to a vehicle for work purposesIf you dont meet every requirement but feel you have the resilience and values to succeed in this role, we would still encourage you to apply.About Transform Housing & SupportWe believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live independently and with dignity.
