I’m currently working with a local authority in London that is looking for a Housing Options Officer to join their team as soon as next month on a minimum 6-month contract. This means you will be able to work over the Christmas period and avoid the drought that usually occurs at the beginning of the year.\n\nRole Details:\n\n * Position: Housing Options Officer\n\n * Rate: £28.00ph - £29.00ph umbrella (DOE)\n\n * Location: London\n\n * Contract Length: Minimum 6 months\n\nExperience Required:\n\n * Strong knowledge of up-to-date Housing Reduction Act (HRA) legislation\n\n * Experience making Section 184 decisions\n\n * Ability to manage the full process from assessment through to Main Duty\n\n * Proactive approach to assisting clients in need of Temporary Accommodation (TA) and preventing homelessness.\n\n * Having Jigsaw housing system knowledge would be highly desirable.\n\nIf you have previous experience in these areas and feel you’d be the right fit, please get in touch
