The Trafalgar St. James Part of Crimson Hotels,  The Trafalgar St. James, Curio Collection by Hilton  is a 5 Star hotel with 137 bedrooms including 9 suites, and a number of venues consisting of our unique The Rooftop Bar and Rockwell that pride themselves in the quality of service that they provide.
The Role
The Trafalgar St. James is looking for a high-spirited and organized individual to join our team as a Host. The Host will be the first point of contact for our guests, responding to all queries in a timely and professional manner in person, by telephone, and by email.
As a Host you will also - but not be limited to:
Warmly welcoming and seating arriving guests, ensuring their exceptional experience throughout their visit.
Collaborating seamlessly with team members to facilitate swift and efficient communication and service.
Reporting and promptly addressing any comments, VIP arrivals, or departures as they unfold.
Handling guest feedback efficiently and communicating it to the Manager or the Shift Supervisor.
Demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of our menu offerings and services, seizing opportunities for upselling and promotion when appropriate.

With excellent communication skills and a natural ability to stay calm under pressure, you’re the first friendly face our guests see — and you make that first impression count. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and take pride in providing seamless, attentive service from the moment someone walks through the door.
While prior experience in a similar role is preferred, we place a higher emphasis on your attitude, interpersonal skills, and commitment. Rest assured, we'll equip you with the tools you need to succeed in this role.
