An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hospitality Manager / Assistant Catering Manager to support & help lead hospitality and catering services across a unique Central London estate.
The role requires a professional who thrives in a classic & detail-focused environment where discretion, precision, and composure are essential. Hospitality is the core focus of the role, with responsibility for delivering exceptional front-of-house experiences, while also providing flexible support across wider overall catering operations. The Hospitality Manager / Assistant Catering Manager will oversee a broad range of hospitality services, from working lunches to formal events and dinners, ensuring exceptional standards at every level across multiple and occasionally complex buildings.
Key Responsibilities Support and coordinate the day-to-day hospitality operations across several buildings. Deliver first-class hospitality service to guests and clients with professionalism and discretion. Assist in leading and motivating the hospitality and catering team, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and service standards. Take a hands-on approach to service delivery, with flexibility to support other areas of catering operations. Adapt swiftly to last-minute event or service requirements while maintaining calm and confidence. Uphold established service protocols and standards appropriate to a formal, security-conscious environment. Work closely with internal teams to anticipate needs, manage logistics, and ensure smooth delivery of hospitality and catering services. About You Proven experience in hospitality management, assistant catering management, or event operations within corporate venues, private members clubs, or similar. Strong front-of-house expertise with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience. Skilled in delivering discreet, professional, and polished service to high-profile or senior-level clients and guests. Confident balancing traditional service etiquette with a flexible, hands-on, can-do approach. Comfortable working within a structured, protocol-driven environment where attention to detail and confidentiality are paramount. Applicants must have lived in the UK for at least five years and have full right to work. BPSS clearance (or eligibility to obtain it) is required.
