Chester Race Company is seeking an enthusiastic, delivery-driven individual to join our Horseradish Team as an Event Manager on a 9 month Contract. Located in Chester, this Fixed Term position plays a vital role in the successful coordination and delivery of event operations, ensuring exceptional standards across all activities. Working closely with the Operations Management team, you will help oversee event delivery and provide effective leadership to the events team when required.ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the planning of staff rotas to ensure sufficient cover for booked and forecasted eventsEnsuring event requirements are communicated to teams prior to eventsBuild strong inter-departmental working relationships to aid a consistently high level of service and deliveryLead event set-up and service delivery to brand standards, providing support and guidance to the team as requiredEnsuring that deadlines and performance expectations are met through effective planning and time managementEnsuring high standards of health and safety during event set-up, service delivery and event close by securing the premises and stockIdentifying opportunities in creative and innovative ideas including sustainable alternatives to develop CRC’s sustainability ambitionsSupport the delivery of division budgets through cost control and the maximisation of sales opportunitiesKey requirementsPrevious experience in events or front of house rolesPrevious experience working in a Managerial/Team leadership roleCommitment to ensuring high standards in the delivery of guest experienceExcellent communication skillsAn approachable, positive, and supportive team leadership styleAbout Chester Race Company & Horseradish CateringChester Race Company Ltd is one of the North West’s best-known and most-admired brands. CRC is an event company; you will be required to work weekends and evenings. Any work beyond the contracted hours will be eligible for time off in lieu.
