This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role that will be based in London .
Youll be joining a cross-functional feature team focused on building and enhancing critical services and user-facing features. Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
Contribute to frontend development using Angular and React
Deploy and manage services on AWS
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers in an Agile environment
Apply engineering best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code reviews
5+ years of software engineering experience
~ Strong background in Java and microservices architecture
~ Experience with Kafka and cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
~ Proficient in modern frontend frameworks (Angular and/or React)
~ Career coaching, mentoring and access to upskilling throughout your entire FDM career
~ Opportunity to re-skill and up-skill into new areas, develop non-linear career paths and build a skillset within your field
