If you’re an experienced hire desk controller with excellent customer service skills, then we have a great opportunity for you.

Your Chance to Grow

As a Hire Controller you will be responsible for the efficient hire & procurement of equipment by our customers. This will include handling damage reports, off-hiring unwanted equipment and providing excellent customer service. You will be proficient in the use of IT systems ensuring the accurate & timely recording of information in the company’s systems & providing reports as required.

This is a busy but rewarding role where you will be in regular contact with our customers helping to manage their hire requirements. Using your knowledge of tool hire products, you will offer advice on equipment and continue to smile however busy you are.

Hire Desk Controller your responsibilities

* Taking and progressing hire orders

* Making sure delivery promises are kept

* Dealing with customer stock enquiries

* Promptly off-hiring equipment on request

* Keeping the database constantly updated

* Investigating damage reports

* Identifying upselling opportunities

* Working closely with the tool hire and site supplies teams

Hire Desk Controller Must haves

* Previous experience working as a Hire Controller or similar

* Knowledge of tool hire procedures

* Excellent customer service skills

* Ability to work under pressure

* Computer literate

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Great time keeping and reliability

* Full UK Driving License (preferable)
