Location: Aylesbury Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 actual (term-time only) Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and welcoming school.
This exciting Aylesbury-based role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play a vital part in the education of young people. You'll cover lessons in the absence of teaching staff and also lead small group interventions, helping pupils achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise full classes during teacher absences * Support students in small groups or one-to-one interventions * Lead and manage a team of Assistant Teachers * Assist with planning, resource development and lesson delivery * Contribute to inclusion and behaviour strategies * Help implement school policies on safeguarding, wellbeing, and academic achievement
We're Looking For:
* Experience working in an educational setting * Strong behaviour management and communication skills * A proactive and resilient attitude * HLTA status or willingness to work towards it
