An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a growing SEN school that is opening a brand-new site in Irthlingborough in April 2026. This is a temp-to-perm position, offering the opportunity to join a developing provision with the potential to secure a permanent contract.
The new site will support pupils with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, ASD, ADHD and associated communication and learning difficulties. The school is committed to providing a structured, nurturing and inclusive environment where every pupil is supported to achieve both academically and personally.
As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning. You will also contribute to EHCP targets, monitor pupil progress and help implement behaviour support strategies in line with the school's policies.
Strong relationship-building skills, consistency and a calm approach are essential. Experience working within an SEN or alternative provision setting is highly desirable.
HLTA status or relevant Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience)
Experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly SEMH and ASD
