Excell Supply are currently recruiting experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support primary schools across chesterand the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for confident HLTAs seeking flexible work, long-term placements, or day-to-day supply, supporting pupils across a variety of classroom settings.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and support whole-class learning when required
• Provide targeted small group and one-to-one intervention support
• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom management, and assessment activities
• Support pupils with varying learning needs, including SEN
• Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

Were Looking For:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience supporting learning within a school setting
• Confidence leading whole-class activities when required
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A flexible, reliable and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
