We are currently recruiting

HGV Class 1 Drivers

for immediate starts in Leeds.

Job Details

Start Times: Days: 5:00am – approx. 3:00pm

Pay Rate: £16.40 per hour

Shift Pattern: No Sunday shifts

The Role

  • Self‑loading vehicle (drivers will load themselves for single‑drop runs)
  • Maximum of 3 drops per shift
  • Delivery of pallets and cages
  • Collection of empty totes on return
  • Involves manual handling using a tail lift

Additional Information

2‑hour driving assessment required prior to start

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C E) licence
  • CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Comfortable with manual handling and self‑loading duties

All Drivers pay rates are based on PAYE with accrued holidays. We can offer the Umbrella payment scheme should you want a higher rate but no holiday payments.

Pertemps act as an employment agency recruiting staff for clients, providing temporary labour.
