HGV2 Class 2 Driver

We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a busy food distribution operation based in Southall (UB2). This role involves multi-drop deliveries of fresh produce, cooking oils and food products to stores and depots.
This is an ongoing opportunity offering consistent work across the week with immediate starts available.
Role: HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing
Shift Pattern: Any 5 out of 7 (mainly Monday to Friday)
Start Time: 07:00 07:30 AM
PAY
Monday to Friday Standard Rate
Basic Hourly Rate: £18.00
Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.51
Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £20.51
Saturday Rate
Basic Hourly Rate: £19.50
Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.72
Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £22.22
Sunday Rate
Basic Hourly Rate: £20.00
Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.79
Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £22.79
Overtime: Not specified
Pay Frequency: Weekly
RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Completing multi-drop deliveries to stores and depots
Delivering fresh produce, cooking oils and food products
Using a pump truck to assist with deliveries
Ensuring all goods are delivered accurately and accounted for
Conducting daily vehicle checks before each shift
Working independently or as part of a 2-man crew when required
Adhering to UK Road Laws and Working Time Regulations
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Valid CPC Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
Good understanding of English (written and verbal)
Reliable, flexible and professional attitude
Strong work ethic and willingness to complete multiple runs
