Diamond Blaque is seeking a skilled Contract HGV Technician to join our client's team based in Nottinghamshire. This role involves carrying out comprehensive MOT inspections and vehicle inspections on a range of HGVs, ensuring all vehicles meet the required safety and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. This is a temporary position lasting 6 months, with the potential for extension based on performance. The role offers an attractive hourly rate of £18.89 PAYE or £24.59 via umbrella/Ltd, inside IR35, providing an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV technicians to showcase their expertise within a reputable public sector organisation of over 750 employees.

Proven experience as an HGV Technician, with proficiency in MOT testing and vehicle inspections

Relevant certifications and qualifications for conducting MOTs and vehicle diagnostics

Strong understanding of HGV systems and safety standards

Ability to diagnose faults accurately and execute repairs efficiently

Excellent attention to detail and compliance with health and safety regulations

Flexibility to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
