On their behalf we are recruiting for an HGV Technician who has Mechanical knowledge and ideally some basic repair experience but more than anything someone who is willing to learn new skills and develop The role is to perform Vehicle Maintenance, Mechanical Repairs and Vehicle MET repairs and key responsibilities include; Inspecting vehicles and carrying out MOT preparation to VOSA standards Maintenance of various Commercial vehicles and repairs to mechanical defects Ability to address or solve issues as they arise and seek guidance if required Self motivated to achieve the tasks in within the given time scales & improve service levels Ability to communicate with colleagues and customers alike Responsible for keeping a daily log of job descriptions for work carried out Accountable for cleanliness within the work place ensuring a clean tidy work area at all times Awareness of Customer service ethics and expectations of meeting the customers needs Working alongside colleagues to deliver on specific work projects...
