HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic – Modern Volvo Fleet
Pay: £30.00 per hour / £78,000 Salary
Schedule: Saturday – Wednesday | 6:00am – 4:00pm (50hrs)
Location: Dagenham
The Role
We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to join our workshop team working on a modern fleet of Volvo FH trucks and trailers.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic looking for strong earning potential, consistent hours, and a high-quality fleet to work on.

Key Responsibilities As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic, you will:
• Service, maintain, and repair HGV trucks and trailers
• Carry out diagnostics, inspections, and fault finding
• Complete routine maintenance and safety checks
• Ensure all work is carried out in line with DVSA standards
• Maintain high levels of safety and workshop housekeeping

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
• Experience working with modern trucks such as Volvo FH models preferred
• Relevant mechanical qualifications (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent) desirable
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Reliable and able to work early shifts
