The Role of the HGV Technician
We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to work on a modern fleet of PSV buses and coaches within a professional workshop environment.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys working on larger vehicles and wants long-term stability with a growing operator.

Responsibilities of the HGV Technician

Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV buses and coaches
6-weekly inspections and preventative maintenance
MOT preparation and compliance work
Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
Brake, suspension, steering and engine repairs
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to DVSA standards
The ideal HGV Technician will have

Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance OR time-served HGV Technician
Experience working on HGV, PSV, buses or coaches
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
Knowledge of DVSA inspection standards
