HGV Technician
Part-Time | Permanent |
The Role
As an HGV Technician, you'll play a vital role in keeping vehicles safe, compliant, and road ready. You'll work on a varied fleet of HGV vehicles, carrying out diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and inspections to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out maintenance and repair work on a range of HGV vehicles safely and efficiently
Diagnosing mechanical faults and complete effective repairs
Repair or replace damaged and worn components
Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are fully operational
Respond to unscheduled repairs and urgent checks
Fit and service accessories such as radios and alarms
Complete vehicle servicing and maintain accurate service records
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
Extensive practical experience and apprentice trained, time served as a mechanical fitter.
HGV Class 1 licence preferred but not essential
Efficient in the following tasks; Mechanical; Pneumatic; Welding; Hydraulics.
Able to work on own initiative.
What's on Offer
Immediate start available
Upto 25 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 07:30-13:00
Permanent contract
