NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and highly respected commercial vehicle and plant organisation that is looking to bring an experienced HGV Technician into their growing team.

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a range of heavy goods vehicles and associated equipment within a busy workshop environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out routine servicing, inspections, and MOT preparation work
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Completing fault finding and preventative maintenance
• Ensuring all vehicles are maintained to a high roadworthy standard
• Maintaining accurate service and repair records
• Working efficiently to meet workshop deadlines

We are looking for a skilled and motivated technician who takes pride in their work.

Ideal background:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or similar
• Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle systems, electrics, and hydraulics
• Experience working with trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• HGV licence (desirable but not essential depending on role)

• Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
