Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are working in partnership with a South Yorkshire based company who are recruiting for a HGV Mechanic / Technician on a full-time basis.
This role is temporary to permanent for the right candidate and starts immediately/ January 2026.
Due to the nature of the role applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and a (C+E) or (C) License.
Key information:
Salary: Up to £58k DOE + Benefits
Monday to Friday
Shifts: 7:00am to 17:00pm - 1 hour lunch break
Duties Include:
· Undertake all aspects of HGV & LGV Inspection, service and repair to the highest standard.
· Undertake all aspects of trailer Inspection, service and repair to the highest standard.
· Vehicle breakdown call-outs - Van provided
· General servicing
· Supporting reactive maintenance which could run out of normal working hours*
· MOT preparation
· Truck bodywork construction
· Fault finding and diagnosis - Equipment provided
· Working to DVSA standards
