Job Title: HGV Technician Location: Reading, Berkshire Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum Hours: MondayFriday, plus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and dependable HGV Technician to join our established workshop in Reading.

You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs in line with DVSA standards Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and preventative maintenance Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues Prepare vehicles for MOT testing Complete all documentation accurately and efficiently Work collaboratively within the workshop team to meet deadlines Follow all health, safety, and compliance procedures Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent experience) Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Able to work both independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence (HGV licence is an advantage but not essential) What We Offer: Competitive salary up to £55,000 Monday to Friday hours 1 in 2 Saturday mornings Overtime available Ongoing training and career development opportunities A supportive and professional workshop environment How to Apply: If youre an experienced and motivated HGV professional looking for your next opportunity, wed love to hear from you.
