HGV Fitters / Mechanics / Technicians Wanted Location: Chesterfield, S43 Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pay Rate: £19.00 per hour / £39,520 per year
Are you ready for your next challenge? We're looking for skilled and dedicated HGV Fitters, Mechanics, or Technicians to join our highly successful Client.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Performing routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and LCVs
* Conducting vehicle inspections and diagnostics (mechanical & electrical)
* Carrying out roadside repairs as required
* Using technical software and IT systems for diagnostics and reporting
* Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
* A formal qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle Repair or similar)
* Previous experience in an HGV and LCV workshop environment
* Strong diagnostic skills, both mechanical and electrical
* Good IT skills and the ability to use vehicle diagnostic software
* A full UK driving licence
* A reliable, professional team player who follows procedures and gets the job done right
