HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Location:Ellesmere Port
Salary- £51,000 - £56,000 salary (Realistic OTE of over £60,000+)
Shifts:

  • Rotating shift (early and late shift)
  • Monday to Friday (no weekend working)
  • Optional call out rota
  • OT rates between 1.5X and 2.5X

We are seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic for an industry leading client in Ellesmere Port. Duties:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Perform inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on various HGV/Trailers.
  • Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery.
  • Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used, maintaining thorough documentation.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 (will also consider time served applicants).
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
  • Strong problem-solving skills
