A major commercial vehicle manufacturer is looking for qualified and experienced HGV Technicians to join their expanding workshop team.
ROLE:HGV Technician - HGV Mechanic LOCATION: Hampshire SALARY: £22 per hour HOURS: 42.5 per week: Rotating 6-3.30, 1.30-10 overtime paid at 130% with a rotating Saturday 7-12 BENEFITS: Overtime: 130% overtime, 25 annual leave per year, Carry over up to 5 days annual leave per year. 1 x Life Assurance, Company Pensions contribution of up to 5%, Private Medical Insurance, Bonus £300 per month, incentives and commission schemes, Further Education Assistance
ROLE: As an HGV Technician you are responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). You ensure that all vehicles are maintained to a high safety and performance standard, identifying and repairing any mechanical or electrical issues. Perform detailed vehicle inspections to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
Assess issues related to engines, transmissions, brake systems, and other critical components of HGVs.
Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, and suspension.
