Job Title: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Salary: £20-£22ph

Shift: 8am to 6pm – Monday to Friday - every other sat morning, overtime Rate – 1.25 Type: Permanent Location: Hounslow

We are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter to join our client, a fast growing and busy workshop in Hounslow.

You will be working on a wide range of vehicles including, 80% Renault and the other 20% made up of Scania, DAF, Mercedes and MAN

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Job Responsibilities:

* You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.

* You'll work independently to maintain and repair vehicles and components.

* You'll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).

* You'll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.

* You'll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter Qualifications and Requirements:

* Time-served HGV Technician or equivalent qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 preferred)

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.

* Familiarization with developments in the automotive industry.

* Valid Driving License
