HGV Mechanic

An opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified HGV Mechanic to join our team.
You will be working in a busy workshop, looking after large fleets of HGVs, LGVs and trailers. Your day-to-day duties will include, Preparing vehicles for MOT inspection, Responding to daily vehicle condition reports supplied by drivers, Following regular maintenance schedules, Responding to break down calls.

You will be working shifts between on a rotating shift pattern. This is a permanent position.

It is essential that you hold one of the following qualifications or equivalent: City and Guilds level 2 or above or NVQ level 3 in the service and repair of motor vehicles. You must have a full UK driving licence. xbpsjku You must have strong commercial experience working with HGVs and a wide range of makes and models of vans, and a category CE (Class 1) licence would be an advantage.
