The Role Youll be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and MOT preparation of HGVs, helping to keep vehicles compliant, roadworthy, and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles Perform diagnostics and fault-finding Complete MOT preparation and pre-inspection checks Identify and repair faults efficiently to minimise downtime Carry out routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety requirements Maintain accurate records of work completed Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and turnaround times What Were Looking For Qualified and experienced HGV Mechanic (essential) Strong knowledge of HGV maintenance, diagnostics, and repair Experience with MOT prep and commercial vehicle compliance standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail xehkeey and a proactive attitude Reliable, organised, and professional Desirable Experience working in a busy commercial vehicle workshop Knowledge of a range of HGV makes/models Additional qualifications or certifications in diagnostics (advantageous) Whats on Offer Full-time, permanent position Competitive salary based on experience Long-term opportunity with a respected local employer Supportive team environment and steady workload
