HGV Maintenance Fitter Location: West Thurrock Salary: £23.37 per hour Plus overtime rates Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Shift Pattern: 42 hours per week (shift pattern between 06:00 19:00) Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Maintenance Fitter to join a busy and well-established vehicle workshop within the chemical industry.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected company operating a modern fleet of HGV vehicles and trailers.

You will play a key role in ensuring the fleet remains compliant, roadworthy, and safe for delivering products to loyal customers.

Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain and inspect HGV vehicles and trailers to VOSA standards Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults Carry out routine servicing and repairs including brakes, gearboxes, and clutches Respond to vehicle breakdowns when required Identify and order parts as necessary Complete and maintain accurate documentation using the companys vehicle maintenance system Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment Adhere to all health and safety requirements, including wearing appropriate PPE Requirements: Proven experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, repair and diagnostics Previous experience working within a busy HGV workshop Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills ADR knowledge and experience (essential) Ability to work independently and as xbpsjku part of a team Strong understanding of compliance and safety standards Working Hours & Benefits: 42 hours per week on a rotating week-about shift pattern (between 06:00 19:00) £23.37 per hour Overtime Monday to Saturday paid at time and a half Overtime Sunday paid at double time 25 days holiday per annum If you are an experienced HGV Maintenance Fitter with ADR knowledge looking for a stable and rewarding opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
