Job Description:\nJob Specification: HGV Drivers (Class 1, Class 2 & 7.5 Tonne) – Ad-Hoc Work\nLocation: B12 Area\nSector: General Haulage\nContract Type: Ad-Hoc / Ongoing\nOverview\nWe are seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (C+E), Class 2 (C), and 7.5t (C1) drivers to support ad-hoc general haulage requirements within the B12 area. This role suits drivers looking for flexible work, varied assignments, or additional income alongside existing commitments.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Carry out general haulage deliveries and collections.\n * Operate vehicles safely and in line with all road transport and company regulations.\n * Perform daily walk-around checks and report any vehicle defects.\n * Accurately complete delivery notes, paperwork, and tachograph records.\n * Provide a professional and courteous service at all delivery and collection points.\n * Follow all relevant driving legislation, including Drivers’ Hours Regulations and the Working Time Directive.\nRequirements\n * Valid HGV licence (Class 1, Class 2 or 7.5t).\n * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.\n * Experience within general haulage is preferred but not essential.\n * Strong communication and time-management skills.\n * Flexibility to accept ad-hoc and short-notice shifts.\nPay Rates\n * Class 1: £16.00 – £21.00 per hour\n * Class 2: £14.50 – £19.00 per hour\n * 7.5 Tonne: £13.50 – £17.00 per hour\nWhat We Offer\n * Competitive hourly rates depending on licence class and shift type.\n * Flexible, ad-hoc assignments to fit around your schedule.\n * Opportunities for ongoing or repeat work with reputable clients
