HGV Class 2 Skip Driver

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Skip Driver to join our well-established client based in Rugby, Warwickshire.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday

Rates of Pay:

£17.50 per hour Monday to Friday

Day-to-Day Duties

As an HGV Class 2 Skip Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

Multi-drop delivery and collections of skips.
Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
Adhering to UK traffic laws and regulations
Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers
Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
Ensuring all loads are safe and secure

Essential Skills

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Skip Driver, you will need:

Valid UK Category C / Class 2 driving licence
Minimum 24 months Class 2 driving experience

Previous kip driving experience. xbpsjku
No more than six penalty points for minor offences
Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
Good spoken and written English

Desirable Experience

Previous experience driving commercial vehicles

Training Provided

Industry-related training and ongoing support
