HGV Class 2 Night Driver - Guaranteed Work

Staffline are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 driver for a client based in Kettlethorpe, Wakefield WF2.

This role will be a 13 week temp to perm for the right candidate and is guaranteed work.

Core hours Sunday to Thursday between 17:00 - 03:00, with a degree of flexibility required to meet the demands of the business. 48 hour per week contract - less 45 minutes break unpaid per day, so guaranteed 44.25 hours.

The PAYE rates for this role are;
£16.53 per hour and £17.53 per hour after 44.25 hours.

Your Time at Work
The role will include loading your own vehicle using a scanner, loading pallets, hanging rails and cartons. Average 5-7 drops per shift. Deliveries are regional. Please be aware this role is quite a physical position and the workload can be demanding. You may also be required to lock up after yourself at some delivery points.

Assessments available ASAP, followed by an induction and 1-2 weeks buddy shifts to make sure you are comfortable with the role before going on your own.

- Conducting daily walk round checks on vehicle and trailer to ensure roadworthyness, observing and communicating any defects and completing relevant documentation
