HGV Class 2 Driver - Manchester Airport

We are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver at Manchester Airport to work alongside our aviation team.

Pay: £17 p/h - weekly pay

Shifts: 4on 2off - 6hr shifts

Contract: Temp to Perm

Location: Manchester Airport

Start Date: ASAP

Main Duties of the HGV Driver

• Driving HGV 15 - 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environment
• Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use
• Loading and unloading uplifts to aircraft
• Liaison with flight crew and working in collaboration with other ground handling suppliers
• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle
• Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By-laws
• Plus any additional warehouse duties

Requirements of the HGV Driver:

• Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered)
• Digital Tachograph knowledge and possession of a digital tachograph card
• Driver CPC qualification essential
• Previous HGV experience desirable, Airport Airside Driving would be an advantage
• Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act
