HGV Class 2 Driver required - Basingstoke Overview £18.00 per hour with a minimum of 10hrs paid per day also with paid breaks We are seeking dedicated and skilled HGV Class 2 drivers. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to company policies and regulations. Duties * Operate HGV Class 2 vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Transport goods to designated locations efficiently and safely, following planned routes. * Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during transport. * Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on the road and at delivery sites. * Assist in loading and unloading cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
