Youll play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft are fully catered, stocked, and ready for departure, safely, efficiently, and on time.Location Luton (Airside Operations)Job Type Full Time, OngoingShifts & Hours:Average 12-hour shifts (11.5 hours paid)Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shiftOperations run 7 days a week, including public holidaysStart Times:AM shift 05:30am 13:30pmAM Shift 05:30am - 17:30pmPM shift 13:00pm - 21:30pm4 on / 4 offBreak Structure:1st break unpaid2nd break paidPay Rates:£17.00 - £18.70 per hourRoles & Responsibilities:Driving HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles airsideOperating catering and high-loader vehicles in restricted airport zonesLoading and unloading catering equipment in line with aircraft specificationsDelivering food, beverages, and equipment directly to aircraftCompleting vehicle safety checks before and after shiftsEnsuring all deliveries meet strict aviation safety and timing requirementsMaintaining compliance with Food Safety, Hygiene, and Aviation Security regulationsWorking closely with airside teams and flight crewEssential Requirements:Valid UK HGV Category C (Class 2) licenceDigital Tachograph cardMaximum of 6 minor penalty pointsPrevious Class 2 driving experience requiredAbility to work flexible shift patterns, including weekends and public holidaysStrong awareness of safety in a high-risk, time-sensitive environmentWillingness to undergo full airside security clearanceBenefits:Competitive hourly rateConsistent, ongoing workWork within a dynamic airport environmentAdditional company benefits availableSECURITY CHECKS:As this role is based within a secure airport environment, all applicants must be willing to undergo full Aviation Security Vetting inline with UK regulations, including:5-year employment/unemployment history checkUK criminal record checkInternational criminal record check (where applicable)To apply or for more information contact Karolina on 07483 988890JBRP1_UKTJ
