We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver with crane experience to join our busy builders merchants. This position is for a full-time and permanent contract. The role will involve delivering and collecting a wide variety of building supplies across central Scotland. The job also involves an element of manual labour where you will be required to assist in making up orders and helping serve customers.

Responsibilities :

* Transport goods using a crane truck, managing loading and unloading procedures. * Assisting the team within the yard in making up orders * Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain the vehicle in good working condition. * Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and requirements. * Utilize delivery driver experience to navigate routes and ensure timely deliveries.

In addition to our basic and overtime rate, we operate a weekly driver bonus scheme, based on your performance relating to Productivity, Infringements, Accidents, Timekeeping, Vehicle condition and Paperwork.

Applicants should have:

* Minimum 1 year HGV and Crane experience (training will be available for the right candidate) * Full Class 2 Licence, Valid CPC entitlement and Digital Tachograph card * Less than 6 points on their licence (No DR, DD, CD or IN codes) * Basic knowledge of building materials ( on site training will be provided ) * Good knowledge of the road networks around Scotland * Punctual with good time keeping, communication and customer skills * Reliable with a positive attitude towards working
