Due to our continued success and rapid growth an excellent opportunity has arisen for a Class 2 Tipper Driver in Middlesbrough. The successful candidates should be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment.

We also offer job security and regular overtime paid at an enhanced rate:

• £15.11 per hour
• Overtime:

• • Monday-Friday time and a half after 8 hours - £22.67
  • Saturday time and a half for the first 6 hours then double time
  • Sunday double time £30.22
• Plus weekly load bonus for mixer drivers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out the delivery and collection of products to customer sites while maintaining company high standards of Health and Safety at all times.
• Maintain the company vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness to represent the company at all times.
• Comply with the WTD and EU driving rules to ensure full compliance is achieved with no infringements.
• Ensure HGV licence and CPC cards are up to date and valid.
• Asphalt delivery
• Concrete delivery
• Recycled products
• Internal stock delivery/transfer
• Ensure vehicle is clean, safe and legally roadworthy
• Defect reporting
• Manage drivers hours on tachograph
• Legally compliant breaks

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Valid HGV license with CPC card.
• Experience driving mixers would be beneficial.
• Experience working with digital tachographs.
• Strong awareness of Driver Regulations specifically relating to Driver Hours & Working Time Regulations.
• A keen interest and commitment to Health and Safety, and Environmental matters.
• A flexible approach to working hours and willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business when required including alternate weekends.
