Pay Rates: Weekday - £14.50 plus holiday pay
Weekend - £16.50 plus holiday Pay
Night out - £25.00
Driver Require are recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client based in Tamworth
The role as an HGV Class 2 driver will include:
Carrying out daily checks on the vehicle you are assigned for a job.
Completing minor repairs to the vehicles where necessary and appropriate to do so.
Reporting any damage, defects, or wear-and-tear to the Transport Team
Ensuring the load is strapped down
Driving a Class 2 Lorry to and from their customer locations
Multi drop (up to10 drops)
Handballing maybe required - no dirty work
Liaising with Customers
Liaising with the Transport Team to ensure that they are kept appraised of the status of your delivery and whereabouts
Effectively managing your driving time so that you dont acquire infringements.
Nights out maybe needed
HGV Class 2 Driver requirements:
Must have 12 months HGV / Class 2 Driver experience
Strapping and loading experience needed
Be mindful of the vehicles when driving to customer eg fitting into tight spaces
Maximum 6 points on licence with no major convictions( DD/DR/IN10's)
