HGV Class 2 Day Driver – Hemel HempsteadPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Hemel Hempstead.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.Shifts:  •  Monday to Friday   •  Start times between 05:00 – 06:00Rates of Pay:  •  £16.50 per hourBenefits:Your benefits as a HGV Class 2 Driver will be:  •  Excellent hourly rates   •  Ongoing work   •  Weekly pay   •  Temp-to-perm opportunities   •  Employee well-being programmeDay-to-Day Duties:Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver will be:  •  Carrying out multi-drop deliveries (handball involved)   •  Operating and driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently   •  Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections   •  Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly   •  Adhering to traffic laws and regulations   •  Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers   •  Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management   •  Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as requiredEssential Skills:The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Driver are:  •  Valid UK Category C driving licence   •  Minimum of twelve months' experience driving Category C vehicles   •  Valid UK Driver CPC card and Digital Tachograph card   •  No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes   •  Good spoken and written English   •  Punctual with excellent time-keeping   •  Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations   •  Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience:  •  Previous commercial driving experience   •  Previous multi-drop delivery experienceTraining:  •  Training and support provided throughout the assignmentApply:If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Driver, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processJBRP1_UKTJ
