Location: Surrey Highways Depot Rate: £165 per shift Job Type: Full-Time / Ongoing Work
We are recruiting a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our highways team working across the Surrey road network. Monday-Thursday 17:00 start. Usually 5-7 hours daily but you'll be paid for full shift. The role will be working PM for a couple of months with a day position available after this.
Working in a two-person crew, you’ll respond to highway defects including potholes and carriageway repairs, operating a Class 2 vehicle while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Requirements HGV Class 2 Driver -Valid C Licence -Digi Card -CPC Card
Rates HGV Class 2 Driver -£165 per shift (CIS) or Umbrella -£18 ph inc hol pay PAYE Benefits HGV Class 2 Driver -Ongoing work across the Surrey highways network -Work as part of a reliable reactive maintenance team
Successful applicants must attend a full-day induction (paid), including health & safety briefing and mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
