Position: HGV 2 Driver Location: Wheel Forge Way, Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester M17 1EH, UK Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour Job Overview
Regular roster of 5 on 3 off shift, Start Time between 9am and 11am and finishing between 6pm and 8pm, Overtime rate of 1.5, Free onsite parking, complimentary meals and refreshments.
What will life as a HGV Driver in the Gategroup Team look like for you : * £17.00 per hour * Overtime @ 1.5 times the hourly rate * 5 on 3 off pattern, Start Time between 9am and 11am and finishing between 6pm and 8pm * Inhouse training and development * Complimentary meals & beverages * Free on-site parking * Paid Holiday * Regular shift patterns
Main Duties and Responsibilities * Driving HGV 15 - 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environment * Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use * Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft * Liaison with flight crew and working in collaboration with other ground handling suppliers * Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle * Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By- laws * Additional duties such as Bar and stores packing or search and sealing will be a daily requirement along with any associated paperwork. * Plus any additional warehouse duties
