HGV Class 2 Driver - Days Taskmaster are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Corby. The position will involve the driving of a curtain sided lorry with a pallet truck. Start times are: 04:00 07:00 Pay: £15.00 per hour Duties and Responsibilities: Delivering Wholesale and Retail palletised and hanging stock, this is heavy work but you will be using a pallet truck to unload goods. Support and assist the Transport Managers to ensure all functions of the operation is running smoothly and efficiently. Ensure the vehicle is always legal and roadworthy - all daily checks are completed in line with the Daily Vehicle Check Sheet and in line with the 'Guide to maintaining road worthiness'. To ensure any vehicle defects are reported. Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle Check goods off with Customers and obtain signature and print. Report any accidents as soon as possible, follow compliance with the companys accident reporting procedure. Download your driver tachograph card. Work within the guidelines of working time regulations. (Road Transport Directive). Skills: Two years Class 2 driving experience & Valid Class 2 license.
